After not much wear, less than a year, my shoe sole cracked. I have a four inch hole in my shoes. I took it to an old shoe repair fellow here. He said he could not resole them and that I should contact the company to see if you might resole them or replace them. These were rather expensive. They fit nicely. They’re stylish. I’ve had a pair of Börn for fifteen years before the sole broke. So I have high expectations for well-made shoes. I hate to throw them out if there’s a chance you can repair them. Thank you!

I have a pair of black Naot shoes, Matai, is the name. I am very disappointed that a piece of the sole has broken off. I buy lots of shoes and I really can’t remember where I bought them. The shoes are not old, but they are more than six months old. For shoes that are well made and are as expensive as they are, this sole failure should not have happened. I have another pair just like these black ones, in bronze, and I surely hope this doesn’t happen to them. Can you replace my black ones?

Hi Mary Anne, Thank you for reaching out. Where did you purchase the shoe, online or at a local retailer? One option is discuss a possible exchange/refund to the local retailer. What area are you located in?

I love your shoes. I have worn out many pairs over many years of wearing them. Is there anyway to ‘custom’ make a pair or suggest an idea for a shoe design? I have had to buy a pair of your shoes, take it to a shoe repair place (while brand new in the box!) and have them adjust the style a bit to for me. But I’m hoping you can just create my shoe this time so I can buy many pairs to last my lifetime. Please help!

Hi Toni, We are glad you love our shoes! At this time we are unable to make custom shoes. However, if you let us know what style you have with your modifications, we can send it to the factory for inspiration for an upcoming season!

Naot shoes are very comfortable for me and my wife and fit our orthotics well. Unfortunately the heels wear on one side within 6 months and are now causing pain. Is there a style of type of Naot shoes for men that has a stronger sole? Can the soul be replaced? I’d like to buy more but am hoping I can make then last longer at the price
    thanks

The shoes in question are my husbands’ and are Lapland. This is his 2nd pair.
Can you tell me if the Rider, Electric or Explore is a tougher sole as they appear to be different
        in materials.
        Thanks

The Lappland is in our Scandinavian Collection which has a polyurethane sole. The Rider, Electric & Explorer are in our Vibe Collection which has a TPR sole. TPR is a bit more durable than Polyurethane which tends to be a bit more flexible. Let us know if you have anymore questions!

I have owned NAOT sandals before and they lasted for years when replacing the footbed several times. Finally, the sole cracked and I had to discard them. I have recently bought a pair of ‘Jeff’ brown size 41 that were not anywhere near as comfortable and within 6 months the elastic strap tore loose because of poor construction. I took them to the retail store where I bought them and they said they would contact NAOT for replacement. No results yet and I believe that NAOT has cheapened the quality and manufacturing. $160 for a piece of rubber with leather & glue plus poor stitching is too much for less than 6 months wearing maybe 2 – 3 dozen times.

Your shoe Mumbai 71035 is in your Spring 2016 catalog but it seems to be sold out everywhere for my size. How is that possible, it’s not even summer here yet?

I have been a Naot fan for over 15 years and have never had a bad pair of shoes. The Laura sandal is my favorite of all. I went to Israel and Jordan this past June (2016) and wore this sandal almost everyday with a lot of walking being done. While in Israel I had the privilege of going to the Naot store and took 19 of the people in our tour along with me. I hope they too will become Naot fans like I am. I bought three pairs of shoes while there. I’ve had three complete knee replacements in my right knee and these shoes help me stay on track and be able to walk all day without problems. Thank you!

I have worn the Pamela style NAOTS for years. I have been disappointed lately since every pair of Pamela NAOTS I try on are too tight across the toes and the strap across the top is shorter by an 1/8 of an inch. Seems as though NAOT is making them smaller (less product). My feet have NOT gotten bigger. Now I have to find a different style. What happened NAOT?

Hi. I’ve been wearing Naot sandals and shoes for many years. Probably got my first pair in Israel in the late ’80s. In recent years, I’ve found that the soles of my Naot shoes often crack right below the ball of the foot after about six months of wear, on average. This has happened now with four or five pairs of Naot shoes. I love Naot shoes, so I keep buying them. But I think I’m reaching the point where I’m going to have to stop. I’m wondering: Did Naot make some sort of change in the design or manufacturing of its rubber soles at some point, say, four or five years ago? The soles didn’t used to split or crack on me. Now they do almost every time. I don’t think the way that I walk or use the shoes has changed in any substantial way. Here’s a photo of my latest pair of Naot shos to crack. These are Eiger-style, size 47.

I’ve also had Yukon and multiple Denalis crack on me. Any ideas? What’s going on here? Is there a a good way to repair these with new Naot soles that will not crack so easily?

My husband purchased defective naots montreal sandals for me this past Sunday in Jerusalem. The left sandal’s toe loop is stitched almost an inch lower than it should be. Naot US customer service woild not assist and directed me to Israel, which is 7 hours ahead and closes 4 pm. I filled in online and left a message at the kibbutz, but have not received a response. This is my 5th pair and I cannot believe it cannot be replaced in America as the company is owned here. It is prohibitive and silly to ship back to Israel. I cannot understand how the shoes passed quality inspection and would love to post a picture to show the defect.
