Keep Calm and Walk On at Hanig’s Footwear

As many of our #Naotics know, comfort is our number one priority and we want everyone to experience the comfort of Naot. That is why we are having an extra special trunk show this Thursday, May 26th from 11 AM – 4pm, hosted by Hanig’s Footwear in The Windy City. Not only are we showing off our exciting Fall 2016 Collection, but we will also be partnering with Calm Chicago, Center for Mindfulness and Compassionate Transformation!

Chicago is a great city to live and work in, but all the noise and the stress of walking in a big city can take a toll on your mental and physical health. Hillary Johnson, founder of Calm Chicago, will give Hanigs’ event attendees a personalized 3-minute walking meditation instruction to help them get through the day. Also, everyone who participates in the mediation will be entered to win a pair of Naot sandals plus 50% off a single session at Calm Chicago!

What will we learn in the walking meditation?

  • How to walk mindfully
  • How to notice all sensations of walking
  • How to stay present in a busy environment
  • How walking can reduce stress
  • How your posture determines your confidence level

The first step to distress your life in any busy city starts with the shoes. That being said, no one does it better than Naot Footwear. Our secret is the unique anatomical footbed, designed to quickly align to the specific contours of the wearer’s feet. It is flexible, soft, shock absorbent, supports the heel and alleviates fatigue and pain. We’re not biased or anything, but those sound like the perfect shoes if you ask us!
